Powerful Questions Lab

The most powerful question isn’t one you memorized.
It’s one that meets someone where they are—and creates the space for them to recognize what the moment is asking of them and choose how they want to meet it.

In this lab, you’ll practice asking questions that invite people beyond the first answer, surface the stories shaping what feels possible, and create room for insight they can source for themselves.

You’ll explore how timing, curiosity, listening, and delivery shape the questions you ask—and what those questions make possible. Through practice and feedback, you’ll strengthen your ability to ask less from habit and more from what is actually happening in the conversation.

In this lab, you’ll build and refine your ability to:

  • Deepen your ability to ask questions that invite discovery without directing where the discovery should lead

  • Recognize how story, identity, and meaning can shape what a person is able to see, consider, or imagine

  • Strengthen your discernment around the timing, construction, and delivery of a question—not simply the words you choose

  • Refine your ability to listen for and trust the question that emerges from what is happening in the conversation

Come ready to practice. Leave better able to ask the question this conversation needs—not simply the one you already know.
