Shout out to all the coaches still haunted by the airport sign: “If you see something, say something."

Sure, it’s great advice if someone’s about to hijack a plane…But in coaching? That reflex might just hijack the session.

Just because you see something doesn’t mean it’s time to say something. The more urgent your truth feels to share, the more vital it is to trust theirs.

Truth travels best when it walks—not when it’s hurled like a helpful grenade.

Wondering in the Fog? Ask yourself:

  • What feels urgent to say—and what’s driving the urgency?

  • Are you offering a new perspective… or just tugging them toward your own?

Coaching Coffee Talk outside of Class, Anyone?

Hey everyone!

Does anyone else feel that mix of excitement, overwhelm, and confusion after we wrap up class? I leave with so many ideas—and they mostly live on my whiteboard right now. Totally a me problem.

I’ve been reflecting on how energized I feel when I’m around other LJ cohort members, and I’d love to create some space to connect outside of class. Whether you’re:

  • Working on your coaching business plan

  • Brainstorming strong questions to NAIL competency #3 & #8

  • Thinking through how coaching fits into your life

Hey Chrissy! I think this is an awesome idea! Count me in and let me know how I can help!

The cool kids

I recently told Sara Cross that I needed more access to coaches… because let’s be honest, coaches are so cool, the coolest!

I loved everyone I met at LJ, so I’m thrilled to see this new community!

Excited to meet more of you!

Stuck or Just Not Moving Fast Enough for Others?

Yesterday, we tackled how to work with people who are stuck—and the ideas were 🔥! But one thing we didn’t dig into? The illusion of being stuck—aka when people think you’re stuck simply because you’re not changing fast enough for their liking.

So, I wrote a post about it earlier today (because, let’s be honest, we’ve all been on the receiving end of “Shouldn’t you be past this by now?” 🙄).

I’m curious—what coaching questions could help navigate the areas I covered in the article? Drop your thoughts!
